The amazing @jillythorn_ has shared with us her all time favorite hikes in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! Thank you so much for opening our eyes to the grand adventures waiting for us in your beautiful country.  We can not wait to explore these mountain tops as well as Banff's and Calgary's best eats and shops!

Location: Banff National Park, Sunshine Village Ski Resort parking lot

Healy Pass: 18.3 km, 890 meter Elevation Gain (from Sunshine parking lot)

Egypt Lake: 24.8km, 1,345 meter Elevation Gain (from Sunshine parking lot)

Pharaoh Peak: 32.5km, 2,091 meter Elevation Gain (from Sunshine parking lot)

Hike in August to see beautiful wildflowers and lots of greenery or visit in the fall when the vibrant larches are out. If you are a backcountry skier, you can also head into Healy Pass in the winter for a winter wonderland.

Location: Banff National Park / Lake Louise

1011 meter Elevation Gain, 9.2km roundtrip

Location: Kootenay National Park

959 meter Elevation Gain, 19.3km roundtrip
