MN North Shore Hiking Guide w/ @hittheroad.jacki

Come with us as we embrace December's wintery days exploring Minnesota's North Shore with the incredible @hittheroad.jacki! She has highlighted where to get outside and soak up some breathtaking views.  Thank you so much for showing us Minnesota's best of nature in these top 3 hikes.

Please note:  A Minnesota State Park Pass is required for all of these hikes

Jay Cooke State Park: Cross the iconic swinging bridge that sways over the Saint Louis River. There are numerous trails but a popular one is the Silver Creek Trail. If you visit in the summer - do not miss a stop at Gordy’s Hi Hat!

Split Rock State Park: Enjoy historic lighthouse views on the rocky shore of Lake Superior. Day Hill Trail to Corundum Mine Trail offers beautiful lookouts and trails along Lake Superior! Stop at Pebble Beach for a capture of the lighthouse.

Tettegouche State Park:  Drive to the top of Palisade Head (short hike in winter) for panoramic views of Lake Superior or hike along the lakeside cliffs to the end of Shovel Point for more lake views. There is another trail that leads to High Falls that is partially closed but worth looking into if you visit in the future!
